    Well first thing you should do is contact PayPal immediately and inform them of your mistake. This is so that hopefully they can stop the payment before it goes through, or reverse the payment to get the funds placed back into your account.

    Hopefully the person who recieves the payment is an honest person, or just doesn't notice, and so the whole thing can be fixed before they even realize they have all this extra money sitting there.

    how much did you send? and you should call paypal its alot easier dealing with them through the phone, theyre helpful. also if you didnt send as a gift it'll be easier to get back.

    One time I accidentally sent $40 to the wrong person, but I cbf having a dispute on my pp record so I just let him keep it lol. Just contact paypal i'm sure they will help you get it back.

    Calling them would be the fastest and probably the most helpful because you can talk to a real person.

    Yeah support line is the fastest, always be cautious before sending away your money
    EDIT: Did you ask him if he could refund or re-send it back to you? :p

    Wrong email? Perhaps you've mistyped it and spelled it wrong, am I correct?

    You could easily file a refund for that and it would immediately return the funds back to your account, if so.

    I once had the same problem, but when I went to the transaction it simply said 'Cancel Transaction'. Perhaps you'll have the same luck?

    I sent my PP money to the wrong email...
    I'd try emailing the person asking them to refund it first. Most people on PP are just average Joes and will probably refund it for you, not wanting to get involved with any trouble.

    If that fails, I'd go with contacting PP and all that.
