I'd tell my family only, we'd move away and get a huge house. I would invest the rest of my winnings on business' and stocks.

 

Depending on the amount i'll tell my family & closest friends.

I would keep 40% my own pleasure, buy a house, car,... 10% into charity i'd organize myself so i would know that the 10% i invest actually reaches the people/animals that need it.
& 50% into a business & or real estate so i can keep on earning from the winnings

First off, I'm not a greedy person. So, I would most likely donate a little to cancer research, because of the fact that I've lost a best friend to cancer. I would tell my close family, because you still can't trust some family members, then they would start asking you for money. Like I said, I would make investments, but it would be in a medical field. And yes, I would open a family business. Most likely a Restaurant chain of some kind.

Depends how much I won! I'll use 10m as an example, because I believe that's one of the current jackpots here.

I'd probably invest 5% or less into stocks, I'd buy a tiny home or have a team custom build me one (most likely) and would get a nice big house to comfortably live in, and I would love to have a househelper like a maid assist me in cleaning because I'm awful at it... would absolutely hire someone not scared of spiders lol.

I'd buy my parents' house for them, pay off their debts and I'd give some money to some friends, notably buying a plane ticket to get my friend and hopefully as much of his family out of Venezuela safely.

I would also try to pay it forward in terms of helping 2 of my other best friends transition, as I know that's fucking ridiculously expensive.

Lastly, I'd get a full professional paint setup, lots of 3x4 foot canvas, Golden Heavy Body paint, and a full gaming room with all Pokémon, Elder Scrolls, and Legend of Zelda games on all systems.

I would also like to donate quite a bit to the Big Cat Rescue in Tampa, as they're one of my fave sanctuaries/rescues that deal with tigers primarily. And I would love to journey out to see a strawberry/golden tiger, because as far as I recall - there are only ~20 alive!

After doing all this, I would have at least 7m left if not more, so I would just have it managed well with a really good financial advisor and would comfortably live off of it. ♥

 

You misunderstood my post. I meant it being that I wouldn't keep it all to myself. I would donate to different charities.

 

I also dream of traveling. And I would like to open my family photo studio. It is so beautiful when families share their holiday with you. I am taking some pictures now and making videos. Exclusively for themselves and friends. Next, I use photos and videos and use the video editor Bolide Movie Creator - Video Editing Software for Windows to create videos. So remains memory and emotions events in people's lives. These are not just files that are stored somewhere on a computer or on a flash drive.

No problem. I’ve just had family who has fallen victim to cancer and dimentia. So I would donate towards medical science to help fund research.

 

Winning 500 million (assuming USD) would most likely ruin your life. It's very common for people that win extreme amounts of money become depressed. Though, if I had the money I would invest in apartments which I'd rent out for passive income. Would also donate a lot.

 

1) Get with my attorney & set everything up the right way.
2) Go buy a McLaren 570S
3) Go buy a Porsche GT3 RS
4) Pay off all my student debt & the debt (mortgages, etc.) of immediate family.
5) Would invest low-risk.. not really sure what with that kind of money. Something similar to mutual funds.. S&P, etc. With that much money you'd make millions off virtually no risk.
6) Buy a company that is involved in something I love I.E. hunting, outdoors, etc.
