probably die from it. try to infect as many people i hated as possible before that though.

 

I'd probably stay quarantined away from loved ones. Hopefully get treated and survive if shit went south I'd end it.

 

I would probably have to live on my own, in a strange place. That being said I would have to make the most of the days I had left and stay hopeful.

 

Well if you were in the US and infected with Ebola you'd be forced to be quarantined. Anyone you had immediate contact with would also be quarantined for around 21 days. Anyone in any public place you had been in from the moment you felt any symptoms would be contacted and made to follow procedures to check if they were infected. You'd come to terms with the fact that more people die than live once they are infected with this disease. You may bleed out of your eyes and ears (Ebola can cause you to bleed out of all your orifices.) You'd come to terms with the fact that this may be your final month on this planet. That's got to be something that is awful to come to terms with. Knowing that everything in your life led up to that moment when you were infected. Is this where it all ends? All the people in your life who cared for you would smile and say you'll be alright, but they all know this may be the end. Get well soon OP

 

Got any advanced nations statistics to back that sentence? 70% death rate in Africa might just be a 25% kill rate or less in Europe. The immune system of africans is a lot weaker because of their living conditions and the lack of proper food/drinking water. So I wouldn't scare myself and others by using statistics from African countries if that makes sense.

I think it's safe to say that there are more factors that determine if you are going to die other than a RNG. Ups you got the number between 1-70 so you die. Yay you scored 71 on the RNG and you won't die. That's a bit unlikely don't you say?

We really can't say that much about the death rates only based on the numbers coming from Africa. Too lazy to check but I am more than sure that Africa has a higher death rate with pretty much every disease.

 

Stay isolated with a good PC, so i can video call friend/family to still communicate/ and not get bored , then just hope for the best i guess.

In the case of ebola, random numbers are an abstraction for many unpredictable and dependent variables working together. In 70% of the configurations we've found so far the variables combine in a way that kills you, and in 30% they don't.

It's totally a RNG checking if each of the thousand factors that matter are in the right place.

 

And when we take an european vs african then the factors are far from the same. You can't really believe that the death rate is same for all human no matter how unfed or how weak their immune system is? To me that just sounds like bad science.
