What will happen to G.E After FreeTrade

What's gonna happen to G.E after FreeTrade ?

Also, Will economy crash ?

 

They said they plan on keeping the ge.

 

I dont whether to believe they would bring it back :/

Ugh I want it to be gone .
Without it, old merchanting and player prices etc will come back, the game will be as hard as it used to be, hours on the forums for the easiest of items to get etc. The way it should be.

 

Well, from my perspective - there won't be any limits. What do I mean by that? Right now you can sell a blue partyhat for 6--M to 6--M gp, meaning the price difference isn't that much but after the limits have been lifted up, you can sell that blue partyhat for 5--M or 7--M. As time goes by, you will realize how much they will go for in grand exchange, what's a good price and what's bad.
So what's the point of grand exchange? Well, you don't have to go to World 2, and find a buyer for it - You can just let it sit in the grand exchange and do something else.
This is what I think, I don't know what they have stored for us.

 

Ge is going to become an auction house.

 

This basically,if your using the GE there is going to be no max or min price just the recommended prices, but of course you can change it however you like.

 

My prediction; market prices for high prices items will most likely be higher than the G.E. value. People will recognize this, and start trying to buy commonly street-merched items from the G.E. for a low price making a MASSIVE profit. This buy-out will cause the G.E price to raise gradually because the demand>stock so the price has to rise. This will probably result in the market price getting a little higher but it will end up in a small difference. People will be going to World 2 now most likely for selling things and the G.E will almost become useless. Merchanting will be open again which is what I look most forward too. *Hint* When the trade limit update comes out, start buying whips for like 3M selling them for 3.5M and buying BGS's for like 15-16M and selling them for 17-18. Always do BGS's for 1-2M higher than what you bought for. That's a quick little merching tip for you, it worked fine for me when there was no trade limit.

 

You can put things in there for any price, the one closest to the price gets it.

 

It won't happen, so Grand Exchange stays the same.

 

But people will be buying stuff for such inflated prices liek climbers and popular pking supplies If i could i'd buy c boots 1m+ all day and you gotta see people w/ large stacks will throw down and sell stuff for soooo much

Also people will be greedy and merching clans will buy out an item and olny sell it for ridiculous prices ex. Super Str Pot @1k e goes up to 100k each after being bought out.
