Hiring a camera Crew

So, its my mates birthday on the 12th april; I'm looking to hire a camera crew for the night. To follow us around, put all the video together & then we get it.

I'm wondering if anyone knows any companies in the uk (Manchester) that I could hire for about 9 hours.

 

I'm not sure if College's have these in the UK (I'd be willing to bet that they do.) but for a going away party for my friend we hired two college students that were in some sort of camera/editing class for their school. We didn't record the whole night but we had them take all the pictures for us. Cost us $90/ea for a 6hr session and they gave us 600 pictures a few days later. The college offered it as a way for their students to make some extra cash.

Really though, I'd bet you could just go through the students themselves if you know anyone in college that might know of a few people. It'd be a lot cheaper although you might not get the quality work your after. For us, the pictures worked out great.

 

You could look at Camera crews at Manchester Met and the University to see if anyone would be up for it for a decent price. Remember, students are game to make a quick quid.
