    What Video to Make?

So I struggle with the common question allot of YouTubers ask themselves.
What to upload? I was fortunate enough to upload a video that got 60k+ views.
Which really would help me with my channel if I actually posted. I love making
guides for people but I always get stuck on the topic of what about. I always
play games with friends, about 70% of my day is gaming. I could record, I dont have a
probably recording the gameplay. But when it comes to recording your
microphone that's a problem. I have this wall AC that sits right above me, makes
allot of noise and can be picked up buy my headset mic and my Rode Mic. At night
time I can turn it off and record a voice over, hence why making guides are more of an
easy option for me. But I have some great moments when playing games. Let me
know what you guys think I should do ect. Thanks for you time. More information below.

    Games I play:
    Arma 2 (Dayz Mod)
    CS:GO
    RuneScape
    Rocket League
    GTA 5
    Call of Duty

Well for us to help you, you need to be willing to help yourself.

Some things you can do (and you should of though of :p )

*Move your desk so they can't hear the AC.

*Live commentary. I swear, more people will subscribe

*Create an overall gaming channel if you want to appeal to many viewers, or pick a game and stick to it if you want a concentrated subscriber base. Be aware though that if you do decide to move on to other games, your subscribers won't like it.

If it isn't an option for now, you could probably still make videos like you did previously. Just letting you know that live commentaries definitely generate more viewers, and people notice if you try to make voice overs sound live (I did this before). Best of luck :D

I was really into creating content Youtube since it was launched but when I got serious about it was 2 years ago. I spent most of my time creating speed arts on Youtube. It was fun seeing videos gaining views/traffic, subscribers increasing, comments, and all that jazz.

    What I've learned over the years;
    - Push out high quality content, have a list/make a list
    - Maybe create a team/crew to game with, if their videos gain traffic, that traffic will also be directed your way and vice versa.
    - Have proper equipement; invest in a snowball mic, elgato to record your gaming gameplay
-As for that sound problem; just record your gameplay and mute the sound. Then record your commentary over it and add a copyright-free track.\

    GL man!

Now this just might have been a fluke, but 5 years ago when Pocket God was really big on the App Store they released a new "achievement" system (something totally new to the application world back then). I took really crappy videos with my phone of my iPod touch on the guide to the achievement list and got like 70k+ views per video (around 5-6 videos if I remember correctly). The moral is, you want to take advantage of NEW things and be the FIRST to make a video about them. Everything old is basically already monopolized by big YouTubers so you want to do new things.

I was worried that, you know, since I was a young kid with absolutely no previous videos and no subscribers and no presence in the YouTube community that the videos would fail, but the results showed that whatever is in demand will yield rewards. Find new things (whether it may be games, applications, or even real world things) and do that. Unfortunately, all of the games you listed already have massive YouTube fanbases in a select few people. Your best bet would be to try something new OR as soon as CoD BO3 comes out to release helpful/impressive videos the same day and if possible the day before (midnight release).
