Not sure where to put this post

So im not sure where exactly this would guy. Since this isnt exactly a buying thread more along the lines of just asking for some opinions.

I want to buy a santa for for paypal and im not sure what they are going for. I posted a thread that i'd pay $100-$110 paypal. Is that a reasonable price? Im not trying to make money off anyone and im not trying to over pay. I simply just want a santa hat.

I'm also thinking about adding to my thread that im willing to go first to trusted people but had a question about that too. Does that attract more scammers than actual trusted people?

I would recommend using a MM/OMM For anyone that is selling that is less than a $200 donator. This will prevent you from being scammed.

Also, going first to HIGHLY trusted people, will cause you to pay more, but will bring in more legit sellers.

$100 is about a fair price imo.

$100-110 sounds pretty reasonable for a Santa.

I would also reccommend that you state you WILL go first to trusted people. Just set your own boundaries for what "trusted" means to you.. things like join date, post count, even donation rank, doesn't really mean a whole lot.

If you get some guys offering to sell to you if you go first, and they have a nice mix of all of the above, plus a lengthy vouch page with lots of market transactions (NOT free services, quests etc), then chances are that they are not willing to scam you for a measly $100 trade, as their reputation & Sythe account are just too precious to lose. Just use your best judgement & discretion to decide who is trusted & who isn't.

But anyways, I would say YES. Offering to go first to trusted members usually attracts a few more sellers, as it means a quick & easy transaction for both parties, without the hassle of finding a middleman or arguing over who goes first. Just be cautious, like I said, and do a little bit of background research into the seller before you buy off them.
