Some questions about DT and other stuff

I've done DT a few times...mostly with 43 prayer...

I want to do it on my 60 att pure with 13ish prayer...so what are the levels I should be at to do it?

ATM my levels are

40 att, 63 str, 55hp, 60 ranged and 60 mage...

i am planning on getting my ranged /mage up to 70..but would i be able to do it now?

i want to just get it out of the way TBH..

Should I get addy gloves or is a regen brace just as good?

I pretty much hate quests and already have to do a lot just to get dscim, dds (even though I will be using dclaws) and ancients, etc..

it's not like 40k more risk really matters to me...

Should I get 44 prayer to do dt? (question only applies if you think I should get 70/70 in the first question)..I plan to dclaw for my spec when pking (not rushing)...so I will need a high prayer level anyways...so...yeah...idk though..

 

if you're rich id do dt with 13 prayer, safespotting and using cannon at kamil (you have good enough stats to do dt now)

Addy gloves: get them it will make ur account look more "complete" compare to combat bracelet mains etc.

if you're poor id get prayer (45) insted of 44 for the magic prayer aswell, and you can prot claws while pking and get firecape etc

65 hitpoints, 70 ranged, 70 magic would be a nice start. You are going to need those levels anyways, so you might aswell get them now. You don't need DT right now anyways, so just do some training!
With those stats you will be fine at 13 prayer. I've done it myself at 50 hp/11 pray and a great tip is to bring a cannon at some of the bosses and have a friend drop you food.

Addy gloves all the way, with a regen brace/cb brace some clans will even reject you when it's one of the most fun things to do on a pure. Some pures will troll you aswell if you are wearing a cb brace.
But if you hate questing you can use a regen bracelet, with the new updates it doesn't protect over claws anymore so that's great.

Just stick with 13 prayer for now. Dragon claw rushing will probably bore you. And if you rush at high risk worlds, your rewards will be greater and you can't protect item there anyways.

Summarized:
Get a little higher stats and try to complete DT at 13 prayer. From there on you can decide if you feel like questing more to get addy gloves and if you feel the need to get higher prayer.

If you're eventually going to get 44prayer get it, will save alot of hassle for DT if you're not going to get the prayer then get a blocker for Kamil and somebody to carry food for other bosses and also may aswell try and be the best you can so do RFD

 

I don't plan on rushing tbh...I want to actually fight people...I will just use claws for my spec...

Also...I plan on getting 44/52 prayer eventually...I plan on having these stats before pking

65/70 hp....60 att....80/85 str...90+ ranged...82+ mage...44 or 52 prayer...

Those levels are really high...but I want a decent pker before I actually go and pk...

Also, I wouldn't say I am "rich" but this account has about 100m in cash and items..

 

Unless you've got cash to blow, get 43 prayer before doing DT. However, addy gloves would make the account more complete, they look awesome when it comes to showing off your acc tbh

 

OK!....well....right now the question is..should I get 44 prayer before dt?

It would take me from 47-52 combat..I could then be 53 cb (after leveling mage/ranged) with, 40 attack, 63 str, 55 hp, 70 ranged, 70 magic (could probably get 72 without a cb level) I could also be 49 cb with the same stats minus prayer (prayer would be 13ish)

I have about 60m in rsgp...keep that in mind...I also have about 19k cannonballs in my bank..

 

I did Dt twice without prayer. Its a bitch but its a better idea if you want to stake, etc. Addy gloves are definitely better than regen brace.

 

I don't plan on staking...i stake on my summon tank...I plan on PKing

 

The thing about Regen brace vs addy gloves is that the gloves are a lot cheaper to loose. For PvM, not much of a difference imo.
