What's the formula for determining how much GP $500 would buy at $0.77 per mil?

I know 650x0.77=500.50

but that took trial and error.

What's more simple math than that?​

 

you take 500.00 devided by .77 and that gives you 649.3m is what you'll end up getting ;D

 

500/0.77

 

You buy 1 mil for 77 cents

You buy 1.3 mil for $1

You buy 650 mil for $500

 

ifh your math sounds like mine use to when I was in school, doing it all in your head and it doesn't make sense to anyone else.

I am not really sure where your math skills are at, but this might be an easier concept for you to get (if you took algebra)...

500 = x(.77)

X would equal how many mils you will get.

 

You know that the answer should be greater than 500 since it's a decimal and not a whole number.

Therefore...500/.77 = 649.350M

 

x339 that's the equation I put on the top post, lol. Dividing Mills by price being paid is what I was looking for and somehow couldn't figure out for myself.

Solving these questions involve the basic concept of converting units.

Example:

You have $500 and you buy gold at $0.77/mil

$500 X 1Mil RSGP/$0.77 or $500 X 1.3 will give you the amount of RSGP you can buy with 500 dollars.

 

I'm 20, 21 March 4th. I was trying to figure out how much it would cost by dividing and when I did 500/.77 it didn't cross my mind that that could be it. You could call me another village drunkard, man. For some reason I just looked over it without thinking.

Divide by .77

x = that.
