installing rsbuddy on windows 7

i run it as a .jar and a cmd opens then instantly closes. any help?

 

Download the newest version of Java+JDK.

 

HMM, tried installing that, still doesnt work

 

I have Win7, and RsBuddy also. Once you click the "Download" button, click "Save file" instead of opening it. The it should save in your Downloads folder, double click it to run, and it should open. So try saving it instead of opening it right away.

 

try installing both x64 and x32 java? I think thats a 64-bit problem maybe reset your java enviroment variable.

i changed the path, no luck

 

1. Download Rsbuddy to desktop

2. Rename Rsbuddy to "bot"

3. Open notepad and copy and paste this into it

@echo off
java -jar bot.jar

4. Save the notepad document as "bot.bat" on the desktop

5. Run the Bot.bat file and it will open rsbuddy

I had the same problem but got it fixed.

 

followd those instructions exactly but didnt work

 

maybe post a video or get a screenshot of what the CMD says
I always have problems with java and the cmd closing, its usually means that something is missing or the code was wrong.

 

ill do that when i get done with this, but it works perfectly on my xp machine

 

I had the same problem (WIN7 32BIT)

i deleted everything (all rsbuddy files/java files/jdk anything that can affect it)

Re-download see if that helps out at all.

also, I know you already you said this but if you do what i mentioned above make sure the path is still correct as in the earlier post says (not me)

 

just tried that. no luck
