Botting on a Mac?

Hey guys, what is the best bot compatible with Mac yet is not PowerBot?

You can try running bots your interested in via wine and see if they work.
Simba works via wine. And most java based ones should too (Epicbot).

 

Oh okay, just one question - what exactly is wine?

 

Is your mac able to run PowerBot? Mine cant :c it wont let me install java 7 because I dont have Lion...

 

Wine Is Not an Emulator ! But it looks like a windows emulator for the profane

I used the Linux version to get Simba working on some VPS's. It works really well.

 

Powerbot, Simba and the rest all work fine on Wine.
Get wine, then install Java 7 with Wine and open up your RSBot.jar with Wine's Java 7 and it should work.

Robotz In Disguise works if you read their Knowledgebase Extras section to find the thread "How to Minimize your Bot" thread. It shows you how to create a free Windows XP Virtual Machine using Virtualbox. I use it on my iMac and also on my Asus laptop to run and minimize my bots. Took me ~20 minutes to set up the first time, and after familiarizing myself with the settings I can delete and create a new VM in a matter of a few minutes.
