What the scammers are currently doing

Taking our emails off of forums such as Sythe, and emailing us from "Jagex Ltd." They'll phish us using information such as "Your account has been given an infraction due to Major Macroing/Real World Trading." The link IS NOT to the actual RuneScape page, it's to a mirror site.

The email will look exactly like a Jagex email would.

Please don't fall for this phish, thought I should let you guys no.

 

Yeah, I get them a lot too. Like if I don't respond in 2 days my acc will be banned and such. ALWAYS check the link they give you, REAL RS pages have a lock before the url in ur browser bar.

 

If you hover over the link it will tell you the website as it will show the real website adress on it.

 

yeah its funny they are sending emails to accounts that done have rs accounts attatched to them

fuckin kudo's for trying tho, im sure they are getting some peeps coz tbh they look pretty legit

i suggest spamming the fuck outa there site with actual account names an semi realistic passwords so that they get the shits lol

Seriously! My Email is so clogged up with these lmao! The thing is it isn't the same email i even used to register my account on Runescape so they just one big fail LOL.
