getting banned on runescape?

I just started with this site...and is it possible i could get banned on runescape for RWT? :S

if you dont publish your runescape name everywhere the chances decrease even further... if you were to publish your name they could technically follow it around and see if different ips accessed it when you ordered a service from sythe (possible but unlikely)

 

Speaking as someone who has done thousands worth of real-world trades including selling gold, all on the same account and never changing my ip, it seems that you have a greater chance of getting struck by lightning while playing rs than you would getting caught for rwt

 

Yeah, don't worry about being banned. I've been on several bugging/cheating forums and have never been banned for that. I've also done trades, purchased gold, and other services.

Benorek, I wouldn't worry about your account being caught from RWT. Just don't reveal your runescape name, IP, etc.

 

Don't post any account names, exact skill xps, levels and don't click any runescape links posted here because Jagex can see that you clicked their link from sythe. Do all that and you will not get banned over sythe.

 

I was banned for RWT like 4 years ago.

NOT fun. Yes, you can get banned but if you don't trade with people who have marked accounts then you will be absolutely fine.

 

Theres a really low chance, as said above just dont post your rs name and exact levels.

 

Recently there have been mass bans.
No idea why though.

 

I got banned for 1 month for real world trading last year.

Here's what happened: My account got locked 3 three times and after each time I got unlocked I RWT'ed more and more. Finally after the 3rd one I got banned for a month.

Moral of the story: If your account gets locked, don't be stupid like me and continue to RWT, wait a week or two before you do it again.

 

The chances are stupidly minimal, unless you be retarded and as above - post your name everywhere etc.

 

How can someone get caught real world trading?

 

As others have stated above, there is a chance you could get banned for RWT. To be safe don't publish your account name openly on this site, or Jagex could monitor your account to see if it is accessed from other IPs if you ordered some gold, skill training, or etc.
