If anyone has ever seen Bill O'Reilly, they would hopefully agree with me when i state that that man is either evil or retarded. No in between. Little did I know, the whole FOX News station is just as bad.

Personally, I choose not to be brainwashed by FOX News, but I would like to read any opinions (whether in support of FOX or not) on this subject.

I say FOX News is crap. What about you?

 

i agree fox news is just propaganda.I only tune into that station for the simpsons.

 

They do have a right to an opinion. I don't think that they are lying they out stretched it. They still give out news just like any other place though

 

Editorialized news pisses me off, whether it's conservative or liberal. Conservative just pisses me off more

 

Welcome to the world of media. That's what news reporters do best (not just FOX); twist stories to gain interest from viewers.

 

FOX is literally ridiculous in its manipulations, however. I realize that all media is generally the same... but we must also realize that FOX claims to be a "fair and reliable source". They could not be more wrong in that assertion.

Wow... those are commentator shows.
FOX may be bias in the fact that they have more commentators in favor of the GOP (I don't even know if that is indeed a fact, I just know that you're implying it), but that doesn't mean it is unfair or one-sided. They invite people with opposing views to talk with them on practically all of those shows. Honestly, it's the debating that makes it worth watching... otherwise it's just plain boring news. And it definitely doesn't mean it isn't a reliable source for news. If they were unreliable, that'd imply that their news reports consist of incorrect or old (delayed news) information. If their commentators express things that you don't agree with, doesn't make them unreliable.
Anyhow, I don't see how a video of clips taken out of context prove as an example that FOX is bad.

EDIT: FYI, I'm a conservative, and I think Bill O'Reilly is an idiot as well.

I don't mind debates on FOX in general, just the trivial things they bring up during the debates. I just don't understand what type of person would find that their knowledge of current events would be developed over an argument over someone's last name. I know that this is only one instance, but once is enough if the TV station is as promiment as FOX news. I find it ridiculous that people would even find that connection, but hey that is just me. Any other opinions? P.S. I think Bill O'Reilly is an idiot as well.

 

i have the same ideas for everything said on that news program. everything that man says is compleatly biased. he has people on the show to yell his points of views. i have never heard him just sit there and listen to what other people have to say

 

LMFAO!!! This is such a coincidence... I was looking at this thread and watching fox news at 9, when a reporter started talking about 2 guys that robbed someone and it showed a video of a soldier from iraq seeing his family again and the guy's like "Oh i guess we don't have that video..." and he was looking at a notepad and looked nervous.... Goddamn that was classic
