just got my computer but problem on start up help

ok so as some of the rs cheaters on this site may know I bought a computer over ebay. I start it up and it just goes to my system settings [ the ones that show power distribution, temp. etc. so I figure he didn't install win 7 which came with it also the drivers for it.

I tried putting in all 3 disks stated at the bottom of this post but nothing worked.

I am wondering how do I get this thing running have never done any of this before as I have just bought every computer I owned prior which have already came with the os on it.

I have contacted the guy on ebay so hopefully I get a answer was just hoping someone on here could answer faster

the computer came with the following disks

Win 7 boot disk
utillities and driver disk
and a blank disk

 

Go into advanced bios features(or something along those lines) and set the first boot priority thing to your CD/DVD drive, then insert the the windows 7 desk, install it, then switch the first boot priority to your harddrive.

If you have any other computers, that you bought that have a warranty, Call up dell, or whatever maker it is, and just use the support for another computer to fix yours. did for mine recently.

 

Well, a boot disk won't install an OS. Unless it's the Windows Installation Disk, which is a boot disk as well. I assume that's what you mean, but if not, that could be your problem. Also, try what Noodles said. He seems to know his shit.

You could also try setting the first boot priority to your HD first, just in case it got changed and already has an OS on there.

Is this an older computer or a newer one? ( IDE or SATA) If it's IDE, you should be sure to check if your master and slave are correct, unless it's Cable Select.
