What should I wear for barrows?

These are my stats:


I was thinking ahrims robe and bottom. Obby shield because I can't really use anything else. Mystic gloves because I don't have any RFD gloves. IDK what helm because I can't wear helm of neitzot and a seers ring along with trident of the seas.

Also what should I level a little bit. Is it worth it to get my range up for Ahrims or should I just keep meleeing it?

You on a tight budget? Might invest in some melee armour instead of using Ahrims. (i.e. veracs/torags)

I would level range up for Ahrims because melee isn't nearly as effective as range at your levels.

Can answer this more thoroughly when I know what type of budget you got

 

I have like 10m but I thought I would use ahrims for a better mage bonus for the trident staff and what range level should I use? I am currently 58 now and I really don't feel like leveling it to 70 because that will take awhile.. Would 60 be good? If so, what should I use to range him?

 

70 range is recommended. 60 is inefficient. Broad bolts/addy bolts/mith bolts.

I would personally buy some torags or something over ahrims. Much better defence bonus.

 

So it's better to have def bonus rather than mage bonus? And when I get 70 range should I use an xbow?

I mean you're honestly good with whatever barrows you wanna use. I personally use Guthans for everything except I use Khari's against Ahrims.

70 range don't use xbox.

 

What should I use then when I'm 70 range?

 

Rune C'bow and broad bolts/addy bolts/mith bolts.

imo, get verac skirt and a god cloak for more prayer bonus and some better def for when u dont use prayer

get karil top n bottom for fighting ahrim and like barton sayd a rune c bow w broad or addy would do fine

Personaly i think that if u take super set w u n pray u can easily melee ahrim

 

full guthan, slayer staff, obby shield, occult neck, and switchto guthan spear for healing, and whip+rune def for karil/ahrim

 

Personally my set up is:

Full guthans, glory, bandos boots, crystal shield (i), b gloves, ring of life, fire cape. I also bring black d hide and bandos for ahrims and karils, respectively. The weapons I use are: trident, guth spear, whip, dds, rune c bow w/ broad bolts.

Basically what I do is 2-3 runs per trip. This is because the time it takes to get out of the tunnel is slightly less then teleporting, recharging run + health + prayer at clan wars, and minigame teleport back. I save a lot on prayer pots since I only use 1 dose per 2 runs (usually just on Dharoks).

I'm maxed cb almost so this probably wouldn't suit too many people but it's very cost effective and I do profit even without good barrows loots.

 

You only get 2-3 runs per trip? You should be getting 30+

 

Did you read why I only do 2-3? Running out of the tunnel takes almost as long as banking which gives you 100% prayer, run, health, and more supplies...
