What ruined runescape for you?(if anything)

staking, i either got cleaned or sold off my rsgp, i basically compared everything i pked/staked/lured into $

 

first new wild. then trade limit. then all the new graphic upgrades and now eoc

 

Removal of the General Stores
Lifepoints update
Useless Weapon update #1 (the first time they were changed.)
Useless Armor update
EoC
EoC weapon update #2 (the 2nd time, now everything looks disgusting, even Hatchets)
Every graphics update since 2010. (ah I miss 2010, the last full good RS year, 2011 had some bad updates even though not all of 2011 was bad!)

Btw eoc made RS just so boring.. I couldn't stand it .. with them also having to change every weapon ingame just was the last straw, I quitted finally and now I reaally rarely go online but only if I'm bored haha

 

Strong opiates, along other substances.. Then it was too late to 'catch up'. Now it looks like a mess to me.. Still have good characters, though. Maybe someday I'll try again Visiting sythe for the first time in a looong time too.

 

Nothing has 'ruined' it so far, but I'm pissed about the EoC CMB update. Not EoC, but the way that the Combat levels are worked out, I preferred the 138 system where Prayer & HP affected it, not the 200 one.

 

BUYING RSGP MADE THE GA<E BETTER. I like it better when I buy rsgp.

Evolution of combat, I had a maxed main and a pure. My pure was totally fucked in the ass, hence I quit and check up on it rarely.

3. EoC staking - one stake takes 10 minutes
4. Wildy in EoC, no spec or nothing.

EoC killing my pures. If I wanted abilities or combos I would just play WoW.. if I wanted a skill game I just play DOTA2.

RS lost it's niche for me, maybe I'll get turmoil on one and give it a shot, doubtful though

 

Nothing really. I originally quit when it was in the glory days, before pking was taken out for the first time. Although now that I play occasionally it would be nice to play the version I played a long time ago.

 

New combat system..

 

There have been plenty of purely crap updates for years, yet none of them really 'ruined' the experience I had playing Runescape. But this EoC business is really the final straw for me, RSPS are looking more and more appealing to me now.

 

I'd say because of the shitty updates Jagex has implemented, I must admit the idea of playing an online game is no longer in me too. I am 18 years
