The emperor scorpion looks quite cool, and it seems to be a decent one for a beginner.

 

I love reptiles, I used to own some ball pythons before. I also had a pure Colombian Red-Tail boa.

If you like snakes and you're not experienced I would get a ball-python, or a red-tail. Remember males are always smaller than females.

 

Clearly the West African Mud Turtle.

When you tell your friend you have to go and feed your pet, he will ask, "You have a dog or something?".

That's when you stare at him with a dead-serious look on your face and say, "No, I have a West African Mud Turtle."

 

Get a bearded dragon my friend just got one and they are really easy to take care of and when they get big they look pretty mean

 

the ant lion looks cool, but if they have something called "wind scorpions" or "camel scorpions" get those. i found one and i didnt know what it was but i put it in a container and gave him a grasshopper and it ripped the grasshopper apart

Personally, I would get a hedgehog. I know its not on the site, or a reptiple/creepy bug but hedgehogs are exotic, and awesome!

 

Agama lizards look really cool. There are a lot of different colors. A green iguana or bearded dragon would be my next choices in lizards. Any kind of boa or python also.

 

Salamander: Easy to care for and not a big pain in the ass getting crickets and live shit.

Axolotl works well. Also alpine newts are very nice, my favorite are rare caecilian.

 

I couldn't find it on that website, but if your interested in a really awesome exotic pet you should get a bengal cat. They are really chill and they are usually hypoallergenic so you don't have to worry about shedding. I've had 2 before and I miss them dearly. (Had to give them up because my dad claimed he was "allergic" to them -.-)
