Just tried botting for the first time in nearly 4 years.

So I downloaded RSBuddy after seeing a post in some thread about a free Dungeon bot that everyone was raving about. It's so weird to think that the Scar bots were the best kind of bots back then. From bots that had to control your mouse, to bots that you can minimize and leave alone, that have a mind of its own.

I'm running some Dungeon script, and it works really good. It doesn't solve puzzles like the Timed Switched one as fast as it could, though, and it failed it twice before completing it. Also it doesn't buy/cook food, like I hoped (I'm unsure if other bots do this, or even are able to do this in general) but for a free bot this is pretty good.
*Please note, I am not trying to advertise this bot, just posting on my first experience with this script, and my first time botting in general.


When did you guys start hardcore botting? I know what I'm doing is not as hardcore as you guys, but it is a start Here is a screenie of me botting.

 

its hard to belive how much bots have advanced since back in the day.

 

Started 2-3 months ago, currently have 9 bots running at the same time xD.

 

I have anywhere from 10-15 sorc garden bots running at any 1 moment and i pretty much am also always rcing on my 91+ rc account.

 

wow you guys are crazy. I just added another account to the Rsbuddy, and I have one account Dung'ing and one woodcutting. How am I even able to log on to two accounts at one time?

 

Started back in June 2010. Used free bots back then (RSBot); rsbuddy wasn't in the scene and rsbot was pretty much the best free bot you could use.

Now I own 3 paid bots, planning to buy more.

 

I started with botting with the early version of rsbot, it called Ares back then;p. After that they updated it to rsbot;p which wasnt massed in the beginning Too bad the times are changed now.

 

I remember trying to bot with scar back in the day, that thing was such a piece of shit. They definitely have came a long way.

 

Started 4 Months Ago, Goldfarmed like 5b.

 

omfg i remember scar too. like 4 years ago.. That was literally the worst script... you had to program where you want the mouse to click by yourself. Like you record key strokes and when u start the script does the same strokes for you..

It was basically impossible to work with anything that was moving such as monsters....

 

SCAR like 3-4 years ago lol it was fun i learnedd to script it to so all my bots so they worked ok the woodcutter ones were good. lol moved to rsbot got a lot of things done and like a year ago moved to payed scripts

 

Scar scripts were the ones that detect colours of monsters, colours of trees, etc.
