Stupidly bulky and heavy, plus overpriced. That basically sums up alienware for you. And you don't need the components for RS botting and coding, you can do that on a normal netbook just fine. Have a look into some ultrabooks, with a fair amount of ram and decent processor is all you need for some light botting and coding.

Yep, Alienware is expensive because it is a popular brand name. It's nothing special performance wise, you're just paying for the name :)
You can score a cheaper and faster netbook that isnt alienware, think about the not so big brands because Dell just tends to be mass produced crap. Same with HP etc.

Think I'm going to go for a Toshiba Satellite C660D lol.

    4GB DDR3 RAM
    640GB Hard Drive
    Processor: AMD E300 (1.3GHz, 1MB cache memory)

Processor could be better but at half the price of the m11x I think it is quite good for the price.

Yeah man, I own both the Alienware m11x and m17x..I purely bought them for the looks. The battery is non-exhistant almost because it is so short, I will say though, the m11x comes in handy for class especially when everyone in the class has a mac.. Eh, its all about how much you wanna pay.

OT: The Toshiba looks really good if its half the price as you say it is.
