What Language's To Learn?

Hi guys, i've decided to finally start learning a programming language,

a while ago i did pascal with simba, some vb.net which im alright at

but i was thinking of c,c++,java which one would you think for later in life that Will Be Usefull im looking to be half decent by end of year and by next year be really good at it (yes ikr technical language)

C++ because it's multi-paradigm (not just object oriented like Java), and it's the most versatile out of the three, imo.


But knowing a language isn't so important, it's more about knowing how to design software and code well.

Imo, you want to try to learn many languages, and find out about design patterns, if you want the coding skills to be real useful for your future:

Java. No doubt. Honestly programming isn't easy. Learning a complex language first because you feel like you can do it and want to take a shortcut is bad. Learning Javascript is basic, but also complex. Javascript will definitely be your best choice.
