DarkScape Beginners Combat Guide Using DarkBot [www.dark-bot.com]

Hey guys, for those just jumping into the Darkscape game, here is the best way to get some XP for the beginning levels. This is just to get you your first combat levels since there is no good direction on what to do after logging in.

Things needed:
DarkBot - http://www.dark-bot.com - Free to download
A DarkScape account
Simple quest completion: The Blood Pact.

1. Do The Blood Pact Quest, it takes 5 minutes to do. Equip the weapons you get from them since they are better than the training ones. The quest takes place in Lumbridge by talking to Xenia.
2. Go into the Catacombs and immediately to the left go down the stairs.
3. Load up Pro Fighter (Beta) and walk a few tiles until you reach the Warped Cockroach.
4. On the monster tab, scan for monsters select the Warped Cockroach and move it to the right side list. The Warped Cockroaches are located right after you go down the stairs after entering the catacombs.
5. Loot if you want to, coins, runes, stackables (up to you).
6. Start script and start gaining some great XP, beware of deaths and misclicks.
7. Keep training. I've done 1-60 here easily in attack/str/def. Its a great spot for darkscape.


TIP: If you die, talk to Xenia and she sill give you back the weapons you lost.

NOTE: You can move to the other monsters in the catacombs, they're a GREAT training spot. Or you can switch to other spots like Cows/Goblins with the script as well. Just note that you will die from misclicks because there's so many people in this area. If there happens to be no one in your level difference then you will be fine.

Other Noteable things:

40-50+ Attack / Strength / Defense
If you're mid level combat, I suggest fighting Cockroach soldier's and looting their Carapace (and other stackables or ore), but more-so the Carapace. It's a great way to get some starting cash going.

Running Air Runes is great money! (with pouches)

Crating is a good skill / profitable skill!

Low level fishing can be used for great starting cash - Try the Free Fisher.

No worries. It's just to get your combat going mostly, since its not clear where to begin but we are here to help! Got 60+ atk/str/def here in these areas.

 

Need a few more questions answered please:

(1.) Does your bot deathwalk if it dies (probably pretty useless if it doesn't)?
(2.) Who can attack you in the catacombs?
(3.) Do you need food, and if so how long will food last you approximately?
(4.) Is the bot free or paid?
(5.) Lastly, does EpicBot work well with Linux?

1) Some scripts will do this yes! The fighter does walk back yes.
2) In the catacombs, there is a level difference that can attack is not so high.
3) Has both free and paid, but all darkscape is free right now
4) Yes works with linux, try it out!

Edit: Doesn't seem to work on Linux. Crashes every time on 97% loading up client (Fetching Updates). Shame.
Edit2: Posted report on EpicBot and got a fast response - testing fighting bot currently on Windows.
Edit3: Combat script is quite good. Occasional misclick skull every hour or so in a crowded place, but it's working great otherwise. Really hope Linux is fixed.

I will look into that linux for you its weird because we tested it on our end and it works. We will need specific linux config (we test ubuntu). if you can help us iron that out we will gladly resolve that. Fetching updates is RS related though? unless it was EB update at beginning? let me know which it is and if linux fixed itself for you.

The script will misclick but we are looking at grabbing weapons from bank option and or a right click to interact options both of which are optional to use and will help with that issue. Deaths are part of the game. It already will death walk for most areas.
