Idk what job to chose in the military or where to start looking.

I'd be content with any job that involves doing active things. Not really looking for a desk job but I wouldnt mind if the job was 50% office and 50% active.

I got a 89 on the ASVAB and Im pretty sure im disqualified for Nuclear Engineering because of past charges even though they were expunged.

Also any jobs that have advanced acceleration + high pay + high clearance is a bonus.

    Thankssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

In order to get a high security clearance for any branch of the military you'd need a pretty clean record. Depending on what the charges were. The rate at which you accelerate depends on how you do in multiple different aspects there's no guarantee with anything.

The best "rating" you would qualify for depends on how you scored on the ASVAB and other subtests, but to answer your original question choose whatever you feel will benefit you the most while in the military and once you're finished.

The US military doesn't work that way. Advancement and pay grade aren't determined by your job beyond whether you're enlisted or an officer. Advancement is determined by your work ethic, warrior ethos, and frankly your networking. The higher the rank, the more outstanding you'll have to be in your field to qualify, and the more recommendations you'll need from higher ranking officers. Not meeting the bar will mean stagnation in your rank, and eventually honorable discharge.

As for pay: the pay grade is the same across the board. Everyone within your rank and your tenure are paid the same base amount.

The job, then, is entirely up to you and your preferences. Some jobs may deploy you more often, while others have you at home. You get paid more money when deployed, so it's something to consider, but EVERY job and every personnel will be deployed at some point.

True and false. Not every job and not every personnel is deployed. Only about 80% of our soldiers have been deployed at some point. Meaning, that you will MOST LIKELY be deployed, but not guaranteed.

70i, kill yourself, this isn't the spam forum.

You probably will be ineligible for Nuclear Engineering. Do you have a particular set of skills or interests that may come into use in the Navy?
