What is your way of making money?

So I've been playing for about 2 weeks now and have been enjoying it, however now I need to start making money to get to the awesome stuff. What's your way of making money in osrs?

I'm thinking of doing fletching, and woodcutting, but not to sure yet.

 

Do you bot? If you do, I'd steer clear of woodcutting as the banrate for that is reported to be near that of flaxpicking

As for me personally, I make money merching. Merch on one account, bot on the other.
If you want a skill to make money, crafting is generally pretty profitable, fletching would be good - but I'd buy the logs to increase profits.

You can also run double nats for a good start in money, but this shouldn't be a permanent thing as experience is important

So people with 91+ runecrafting will stand at the altar and give you 2x nature runes for every pure ess you give them. I think the clan chat used to be ffdn (fast free double nats), unsure if it's still open, but give it a try.

 

I personally like to buy membership cards and exchange them for gp though I do not plan on going big and start a shop.

 

i do fire capes, which is the best gp/hr I think. Made approx. 500m 07 so far from it. And I don't rwt, so im stuck with a cashpile that I don't use, hehe. If you don't do fire capeing, I'd suggest godwars. I do that too and it's decent cash if u go with friends who don't scam.

 

What do you mean by "who don't scam."

 

I believe he means that when you do get a drop, they don't keep it for themselves, and give everyone their share of the drop

@ OP, it seems like you're low level which is why I recommended skill-free means. Obviously if you're high combat or have any skills such as 85+ mining, these would be your best avenues for returns.

 

runecrafting is always going to be proffitable. any gathering skill generally will yield proffit as well! good luck!

 

Yea runecrafting is good probably the best but you have to be really high for it to be worth anything

 

I disagree, I make around 300k p/h with level 50 Runecraft. At level 44, I was making around 250k p/h. It's pretty good money. I do mine through the Abyss.

Once you get 91 rc, you'll make around 600-700k p/h if not more.

 

Well I'll defintely look into runecrafting for sure. I am a low level, and mainly waiting for skills to make money frist. I have my mage up to 35, and str up to 10. Wanting to do an obby maul pure. Which I'm thinking of maybe making to a main in the future.

 

I spent several weeks botting mining on my main. I mined on f2p worlds where jag mods don't usually roam. I switched between granite and coal for profits. Now I'm 85 mining and I manually mine runite for money.

 

Combining crafting and enchanting is very profitable as well! For example, once you hit 43 crafting you can buy ruby's, make ruby rings, enchant them into rings of forging, and sell for 1.5-2k each! Profitable and rather fun once you get a number of merchers who act as your constant gem and gold bar suppliers! And once you can make D'hide' you can either sell it or alch it, which can be profitable depending on the current prices.

 

RuneCrafting is great money. If you can stand to get like 70 agility before hand, it will be really helpful if you plan on RCing in terms of the long run.

What exactly is stalking?

 

Duel arena! Go there to make bets against the other player with set rules you can decide then fight for the prize! You win you keep there's and yours. Lose and and you lose it all

 

I usually kill stuff and sell the drops. Herb secondaries work great. Unicorns for horns or hobgoblins for limp roots, etcs.
