    Sup lads,

    I made this thread so we can motivate one another to break some PR's and become the stronger versions of ourselves. You can also feel free to talk about what supplements you take, things that have helped you reach your goal, injuries from certain workouts and things that have helped you recover, etc.
    Basically anything related to fitness & your personal goals that we as a community can guide one another to keep moving forward and become stronger mentally & physically because lets be honest, everyone needs a slight push in the right direction now and then.

    My current lifts/goals.
    Age: 23
    Height: 5'9"
    Weight: 170
    Bench: 280lbs
    Deadlift: 455lbs
    Squat: 365lbs (ankle surgery really screwed things up for me)
    Personal Goal: 2x my weight on bench, 3x deadlift, 3x squat. I've always loved lifting heavy and the feeling of lifting heavy weight off the ground satisfies me. I look up to powerlifters that have both a great physique and an insane amount of strength to back it up. I had a goal when I was benching 135lbs that one day I will bench 225lb for reps, I can gladly say that I have reached my goal. My current goal is to be able to max rep 3 plates on each side (315lbs) for one, It would absolutely be a milestone for me. I would like to get my deadlift into the 500s which I would be extremely happy with and squat into the 400s but I'm going to be extremely careful with deadlift/squat due to ankle surgery so baby steps will be taken but knowing me I'm an "all in or nothing" kind of dude so we will see how that plays out.

    Even though I am an athlete for BPI, I absolutely enjoy animal products. I think they're great and absolutely work but for anything non pill related I do use Bpi whey, creatine, and bcaas. I take animal multivitamins, and sometimes if i have extra money ill use their m stack or regular stack for more gains.

    There's my story, I hope you guys can share yours!

    ^^ I agree, 5x5 should get you there pretty quickly. Why don't you like it? I love the rep scheme of maxing out your strength at 5 reps for 5 sets. Feelsgoodman lol maybe its just me.

    I use to be the same mate, but ive lifted since i was 16 years old (on and off :( rip, too much partying in college) and it gets extremely repetitive for me, not much to look forward to i guess other than looking in the mirror constantly. I always love going to the gym and seeing if i can beat my last gym day reps but i also have a weird routine, it incorporates both high reps and low reps. Best of both worlds imo.

    Prefer PPL, or sometimes I can have a good/intense workout just doing what I feel like. 5x5 doesn't allow for enough accessory work imo. I'd have better legs and numbers if I did it, I'm sure, but I what I'm doing is definitely working for me. To each their own ya know.

    My lifts are pretty weak despite great hypertrophy gains. Gonna focus on them more once I'm finished my current megacut.

    Bench: 150x5
    DL: 280x1
    Squat: 120x12 (I only do goblet squats)
    OHP: 100x5

    How tall are you? I've found that many of my shorter friends can OHP a solid amount more than me. My brother is 5'8 and he can OHP 225, I'm 6'0 and am stuck at 135. Recently I went for a workout with a shorter friend who had never done OHP in his life and he was able to push 135 just as easily as me and I've been doing 5x5 for almost a year. It's a little frustrating.

    Bench: 225x1
    Deadlift: 315x3
    Squat: 135x12 (I don't like going heavy on squats as of yet)
    Supplements: MyProtein whey, any MH Creatine, sometimes I take BCAAs, but they aren't a staple.
    Personal Goal: 10% bodyfat and the ultimate goal of benching a 1RM of 2x my weight, whatever it'll be when I hit it.

    EDIT: might as well mention I've only been at the gym for 6 months and never prior to that and I'm down 70lbs or so.

    Bench: 225 (100 kg)
    Deadlift: 350 (160kg)
    Squat: 260 (120kg)
    Supplements: soy protein and creatine (vegetarian)
    Personal Goal: I was hella built when i was 17 and probably stronger then i am now, had a shoulder and knee injury till about half a year ago. I like lifting heavy but i just want to be fit and enjoy my time at the gym.

    Can't stand the people that orgasm at seeing theirselves doing bicep curls in the gym. so i just go to have fun with friends/ be fit. I like staying at a 10-13 % fat percentage and don't take it too seriously

    Bodyweight has varied but sitting around 215 right now. Height about 5'10". Age is 25.
