What is up with Gold Ores?

well they are going down and up, down and up. i have kept 30k of them and i dont know when to sell them. rite now if isell em i m only getting like 200k profit which seems rly lame. so someone tell me what to do? should i sell em or will they go up. )if yes, like when?) thanx

 

Sell at top, re-buy more at the bottom of a drop?

 

items go up and down in price, that's only natural. Hold them for two more updates and sell at max. simple.

Not for some people

Gold ores flutate since due to the gathering and consumption...With the DEW coming up, this is going to be more significant and evident. Sell within the next few days, don't get greedy.

haha true I didn't even realize that. I always refer to it as bonus xp weekend. I don't think gold ores will rise for the weekend because I think people train smithing via other, more efficient methods.

 

You're going to want to invest in a lot of raw materials with Rsbot.org dying. They'll all go up in price.

 

This is wise advice. I've already bought my yew logs and bow strings for 99 fletching.

 

Actually I would invest in raw materials for skills that are really expensive, because people are going to use the weekend to level up skills that are costly. A fewer number will do cooking/fletching and skills similar to those, so even though raw materials in general will increase, the ones that will increase the most will be for skills that are "money drains"

 

Most of the expensive items have already been bought out for the weekend. See 'grimy' for herbs in the G.E. I lucky sold all of mine from botting before they went down.

yeah I merchant, and herbs are not bought out lol, they were crashing and now on the rise, definitely still buyable. I'm still buying expensive items, so items are certainly not sold out for the weekend.

 

By bought out i don't meant sold out. I was talking about players already acquiring the materials they are going to use. In fact its the complete opposite, Ive been trying to sell the rest of mine for 2 days now. I'm sure there will be a small rise a day or two before but not like when it was first announced.
