Love Fergie and i love this signature but the words are quite small and not very clear.

 

Love everything BUT the font . Nice work, nonetheless.

Negative Space - There is too much space in here that has nothing going on. You should utilize all the space in a canvas to make sure you're not left with just a boring blank spot.

Colors - Your going too far through the spectrum, stick to complimentary colors and try not to sway too much from one part of the spectrum once you start using it.

Text - I don't recommend doing text, just as Alteranz (Spell Check) told someone the other day, don't even use text focus on the artistic part of it then I add, if you feel it warrants text then add some but make it flow well and be visible.

Blending - Your focal contrasts the background and colors way too much, try blending some more. Using splatter brushings, displacement maps (my fav), and smudging though you are not limited to theses three.

Truesay, also choice of focal (central) doesn't really help the composition.

Not always true, you get plenty full spectrum signatures amazingly executed, you just need to either emphasise the focal through a combination of saturation/chroma, or like, not ruin the composition through making it look like an amateur photoshop experiment.

Text can be amazingly executed, you just have to learn it in a way of its own, and frankly, being lazy as most of us are, that's the reason most people tend to leave it out (it's a whole world of its own, typography).

DoF fits into this, it's a very flat depth at the moment, since it looks like a low aperture photo (where everything is on one plane of focus), so your eyes jitter around the photo looking for the focal which will look quite weak, because of the lack of contrast in focus between the BG/MG/FG.

Basically, work on composition, depth, more subtle lighting, and avoid using black as a background colour, since it tends to restrict and look unprofessional, especially as in the render/stock used, the shadow colour isn't actually black (it's a little lighter, purplish and reddish grey).

Using colour techniques in photoshop such as the curves adjustment/levels adjustment helps.

 

75% right, I always try to stick with 1 part of the spectrum... but that's just me and most of the time I am too lazy to do text on a piece. lulz

Listen to Tribal he is rather experienced.

Add depth by using shadows and lighting which is pretty much what Tribal is saying.
