what is the best range void pking stats, quests, etc.

hey guys, i am just wondering what are the best stats for void knight pking. What quest's and skills. thanks !

 

There aren't really any required quests for a voider except for maybe lunars for vengeance, but it's recommended to quest as much of your defence as possible in case you ever want to transition into a zerker pure later on. Completing MM (20k def reward), Dragon Slayer, Heroes, Fremmy Trials, and Nature Spirit should get you to exactly 42 def (doublecheck this to be sure, though).

As for skills, 42 att/str/def with 99 mage/range and 44 prayer is what you are probably looking to get (can also fight at lower levels but w/o veng). Also keep in mind you can level your att and str to a total of 1.5 times your range level without gaining combat, so at 99 range you can also get something like 50 att/99 str (Divide, old rank 1 bh has this build).

 

just make sure u quest ur defence and stay 50 attack or less, and keep ur strength fairly low,

 

quest defence to 42, make sure to do all the quests that give defence that are required for barrows glove so that in the future if you want to get b glove, you won't go past 44 defence.

after that it's pretty straightforward ...

-do lunar's diplomacy for vengeance,
-get 94 magic
-get 90+ range to be effective
-get void + possibly mage helm if you want to do some hybrid
-possibly do some NMZ and get yourself an archer's ring (i).

after that for gear to pk with:

I find that blowpipe > acb when it comes to fighting 1 def pures
but acb > blowpipe when fighting zerkers in my experience.

obviously, if you have the money, use dragon darts in your blowpipe (alternatively run darts for more cost-effective pking)

as for bolts, i normally used a combo of diamond bolts (e) and dragon bolts (e) for special. Alternatively you can use broad bolts and dragon bolts (e) combo although less effective on zerkers.

as spec wep you don't really have a choice: dark bow and dragon arrows, that is pretty much all there is.

As a void ranger, your main source of kills will come from a veng/high hit combination

very rarely will you KO solely on your hits (although it does happen sometimes)

so the key to pking as void ranger is to time your veng so that it gives you the best opportunity for KO (i.e. don't veng if you see that they are full hp, try and wait for when they are maybe at 50-60% health)

from my experience with voiders is that there over rated, I was so hyped and made a voider, when I completed it I was disappointed and bored, turned it into a main.
