What is the best anti-theft software/hardware?

I'm making this due to the simple fact i'm tired of getting my hard earned electronics stolen. Awhile back I got my Kindle fire stolen or maybe I just lost it.. Idk. Anyways I just want to protect my laptop and all other types of mobile electronics from future theft so can anyone recommend the best software or perhaps even some kind of hardware devices to help protect me?

    Thanks Sythe community.

You can buy a special ink that is invisible to the naked eye. You put it on your items and it is completely unique, nobody else will have the same ink mark as you, when it is found the police will hand it back to you.

Don't know what it's called, but if you google it I'm sure something will come up.

The best thing however, is don't be so careless with your items, don't leave them lying around..

If you have an IPod or something like that apple has tracking devices that you can download to your iphone, tablets and things like that always traceable but only if the device is on.
Also another thing would be to keep your items at home if you cant keep up with them. If its anything electronic it most likely can be traced with the rite software but in order for the cops to wanna trace anything it has to be of value to try to pay more attention to your things man.
