What is required to make a donation bond and accept donations?

I'm really interested in helping out people who can't use the current methods.

At the moment I know I'd be rejected.

What are the "requirements" to make a bond and accept donations?

I'd be sending the bond cash first. So what's to be lost? ^_^

 

There are no requirements if you are trusted enough and send the cash bond first. Just PM Matthew, you would be a good one.

Moreover, I can help you with MoneyBookers and other related issues mate. We can do it both. I would not be able to do it by myself, because I do not have the money to send in bond.

Just a note -- Matthew wouldn't let two non-staff members work together; it gets too complicated. If you want to do it, Tux, go ahead and PM him. The bond will have to be in the $2000-$4000 range. I was considering doing a PayPal one at one time but decided against it due to PayPal complications.

 

Tux, you should also strongly, strongly consider the tax implications. I don't know about Colombia, but accepting "Donations" for something requires some hefty IRS work.

Before you try: accepting any other form of payment is considered fraud. You can't legally take Paypal Gifts if they are a donation. You can't legally take MoneyBookers payments unless they qualify as a donation; otherwise, you have to pay taxes on it as income. I was going to do this same thing with Google, but it fell through quickly because of this reason.

 

This is every time getting worse. But something I will definitely do. Not now though.

 

I would not work with the money, would help with other issues.
Moreover, if Matthew would receive the money firstly, there would be no issues.
