PayPal help please.

I'm trying to add my debit card to my paypal account so I can of course by more things, however when i try to add it there is a bit in the creation process where i have to send PayPal money from my bank. I assume this is to confirm the validity of the details etc, does anyone know how much it is i have to send? And does it get refunded as I can't see anything about an amount on the page.

When they're verifying bank accounts they deposit money, not withdraw..and it's usually 2 random deposits ranging from $0.10 to $0.99 cents.

As for adding debit/credit cards, they usually authorize it for $1.00 when you add it to PayPal to check if it's valid and the money is returned to your card after 3-5 business days. They MIGHT make 2 deposits or withdrawals to/from the card to verify it, but either way it's only a few cents.

 

When I confirmed my Credit Card, it charged me about 1,90 euros.

After it charged me, I had to log into my banks website, and see the "message" they sent, along with the withdrawl of money (took a few days to recieve the message).

Once the card was confirmed, I got the money back, but it was on the PayPal account, and not back on my card.

 

its under 90 cents, and it gets refunded, but it takes a total of 2 weeks usually to verify your paypal account.

 

It charges upwards to 2,00€ and a non refunded 1,5€fee (at least that's how it was with me). If you have an e-banking account, you can verify it instantly.

 

Added mine the other day, it's EXACTLY £1, which gets refunded to your paypal account within 24 hours.

When you verify your bank account, two small deposits get placed into your bank account, (under £1) and then you have to tell them how much each deposit is from your bank statement ect. You don't have to give them the money bank.
