I had a 3d monitor at one time. Seemed like a huge waste so i traded it to a friend for one 5 inches larger but regular.

3d is kinda lame unless you play certain games that really make a difference.

Just get 2 asus 24" for about 300$ instead. So worth it.

Not all games support 3D, and the ones that do normally require expensive hardware to do so. You're honestly better off just going for a nice big HD monitor or two, they're honestly worth more the money.

You really want to have a beast of a computer if you want to play in 3d, otherwise you will get a headache extremely soon. I wouldn't buy a 3d monitor if I couldn't play all games 60 FPS in 3d mode.

That build looks great, but 3D gaming isn't worth it, and is more of a gimmick IMO. I would invest in a large, high resolution display instead of a high refresh rate monitor.

3d is a gimmick, but 120hz isn't. if your pc can hold 120fps+ then it's worth it. 120hz is amazing for fast paced competitive fps like cod4 n shit. For that PC IMO use the extra youd spend on the monitor on a better pc.

As everyone else said, dont go with 3d. It sounds cool, but chances are you will never use it. I have a huge 3d TV in my living room, and it has never been put in 3d mode since we bought it.

As for the computer, it is great for the price.
If you could save up maybe another $100 and go with an i5 3570k or an i5 2500k I believe you will be more impressed with your build. But that is always up to you.
