2008 Presidential Debate

Did anybody here watch the 2008 presidential debate? If so, what are your thoughts on it? Did you notice how McCain kept referring to everybody as "his friends", and how on almost every question he had to smear Obama about this detail or that detail? He seemed more like a salesman than a Presidential nominee, saying that he can fix everything, but giving no or little detail on how he would do it. I dunno about you, but I'm supporting Obama.

Yeah, my neighbors have expressed support of McCain simply because he's not black, even if he is stupid and has no good points. They don't want Obama to be elected, and then it turn into the Black House where everybody raps and has baggy clothing. And yes that is true, I didn't make it up... which is very sad that they're so close-minded.

McCain did say "My Friends" about 250 times during the debate. I counted.

 

Actually he only said it 18 times, but still... saying "my friends" 18 times in an hour-and-a-half debate is quite a bit. Scroll down halfway on this page for the most-used words. It's good to hear there are some Obama supporters here

 

i vote for McCain id rather have a man that cant lift his arms up then a black man. (no offence) But black people make me angery i wouldnt be able to stand him as president then have all the black people acting like cool cause they have the black man in office. F THEM. Obama DOES have political experience, if you would actually listen to what he says. He has ideas and plans that can work. I do have to agree that I think Obama would be assassinated sometime during his years as president if he were to be elected. Some people ^^ just aren't ready to except a black man as president, no matter how smart or good he is. If McCain's elected, he'll die a stroke or a heart attack, and then we'll have Sarah Palin as president, which is a scary thought. SHE has no experience, lol.

Nobody knows what's going to happen or what could happen. Yes, Obama could be elected and the country could be ruined, but McCain could be elected and ruin the country. Nobody knows for sure, it's all opinion. Thank you all for your thoughts on the matter, but as I stated nobody knows what's going to happen, it's just opinion.
