What is a damp timderbox worth?

I have gotten my hands on one. I looked here: http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2item_id=2997 and they say it isn't tradeable. Yet the one i have is. Can someone explain this? Is it worth anything?

 

I'm pretty sure it happened in a quest. You got it from the quest that is.

 

You just get it for taking part in a quest so I'd say no, it's not worth anything.

 

But It say's it isn't tradeable. Yet i can trade mine freely. Why so. Doesn't mean it has value?

 

If it's a discontinued item that you can trade, yeah. I've seen one up for sale on Sythe before though.

It's basically like the ammy of accuracy, except you have one that can tradable when it normally isn't

 

How much did it go for? Who was selling it?

If you can get it from a quest...what stops others from doing the quest to get it? If it becomes rare at all, it'll be like the Mint Cake crisis where for a few months it was rare then people do the Eye of Glourphie quest or w/e it's called and you're rewarded a Mint Cake every time...

 

Maybe you are misunderstanding the concept of what i am saying. There are not tradeable. Yet i can trade mine. It's not a matter of making it or not, because unless i can find someone doing this quest as of this moment. I am to believe that it isn't tradeable. I recieved this item traded to me at random years ago. I never ever did this quest. This is why i have reason to believe the one on my account is tradeable.

So, it wasn't sold. But yet it still cannot be made. This sounds awesome to me =]. So this is a possible new rare that will have some street value to it

 

I don't there would would be any value in that item. Even if it's discontinued it doesn't do anything/look good
