Picking up untradables will not be option- be prepared to be smited of rapier

Untradeable’s won’t be picked up by your killer but tradables will. Your killer will get coins instead of that untradeable item.

 

Picking up untradeables - this was obvious, they would never have put it in.
Smited for rapier - well of course people are going to do this, but it has nothing to do with them not being able to pick it up.

 

Actually no, if u can pick them up again, then when u lose rapier, just go back to where u died and pick it up

@OP I thought smite is returning to what it was? You hit 1/4 extra damage depending on what they hit you.

 

This is a very good decision on Jagex's part... Used to hate people in full untradeables not risking anything... At least now they risk tons of time to get those items again, if they choose to use them.

Yes they did. They said that untradables will be dropped for their Alch Price, which means they will drop GP.

If a PKer pk's with a Penance helm, Torso, korasi sword, Fire cape, they will drop GP.

 

Good I hate zerkers who risk nothing and pop 40's with dds lol.

 

Exactly what I was thinking. Imo it would make more sense to not use them now as the time required to obtain them is way greater then the gold required to purchase an equivalent item.

Kinda annoying tbh makes zerkers alot less effective =x but meh.

 

I always thought it was unfair for someone who was risking "better" gear to also be able to retrieve it upon death. Jagex's decision is the only sane one, especially since ALOT more untradable gear has been added to the game since 2007. Also, neat idea to reward us for the kill with gp since we can't obviously get the items themselves, its a win-win.

It only makes sense for it to work this way..

If you could use the rapier and never loose it, then it only makes sense that you cannot retrieve it. I'm glad it's like this as whip drops will be more common =]

Im pretty sure the way the mods worded this makes it seem like you cant risk items like this which is wrong

I think what the mods are talking about is items like anchor and korasais will be converted into cash

The reason i think this is because another post by a different mod who seemed to know more of what he was talking about said the we could pick up certain undtradables like dungeoneering rewards
