Should I make my Mith Ranger obby mauler

Ok ive thought about this for a long while, I'm not sure whether to make my mithril ranger [Level 45 CB] An obby mauler tank ranger, I think it would own to do crazy high damage with range then switch to obby maul for ko, id obviously be getting 25 pray to prot it but was wondering what you guys thought. If I got 60 str with 25 pray and a few hp levels he would be around 51 cb. Should I make him a obby maul tanker or what?

Obby mauler rangers can ko pretty good, but only if like 80+str.

 

I agree, but in , lets say, ~55cb~ 1 def pwns ass hole, seriously, cause then the lvl 30 def'ers come, and keep hittin 14. and then you do something with your g maul / obby maul that makes them surprised ( Hits 25 + w00t ! ) lol. my opinion.

 

if you wanted a def maul ranger you should get 40 def. My friend has one and he is untouchable. No one can hit on him and he can hit 28s with his maul.

 

Actually that never happens, the other day I had a lvl 52 water wave me, maul hit me then spec-spec, guess what he hit, 0-0-0-0

lol for those that think tanking sucks... think about it.

Get 70 str, and 60 ranged, and stay with 20 def... when ur a memb wear full initiate armour(or that other 30 def prayer armour lol)(prosylet its called) and wear red dhide chaps. use dbow when ur not mauling. use crossbow with either emerald bolts(for -8 poison) or ruby bolts. Magic bow with rune arrws, while using rapid. But if you are really loaded with cash, then use rune, dragon, or even addy knives (or darts if u want extreme speed, but dont hit as hard). soo yeaa lol.

The tank has a highe success rate of hitting, while the pure has less chance with a tanker (especially like a 40 def 40 ranged tanker like mine )

In this new pvp, since most people are going in 1v1 zone(single combat), the def will matter, unlike the old wildy, where you could bunch up on a lvl 70 def person and all hit high hits until hes dead. 1v1 means no teeming up on others.

The ranged tanks will also survive more in the wildy, while other noob pures run from them (they run frm me all the time). This means improved chance of getting better loot.

So in conclusion

1 def=fail

in pvp wrld lol. or unless your a high lvled mager, but even then, 20 def for mystic will get u k0s hope i helped.

 

My true opinion is make a new account with range and maul 1 defense, but if you must stick with this account, do the same as I stated before, I guess 20 def may be worth the combat levels.
