So, it finally released today. I heard xp rates are off the charts for skills such as Mining + Thieving.

Thoughts?

I can't enter so I can't tell you guys anything, sorry. I've always hated quests and would need to do like 20 to get in..

 

Seems alright.. Have to try get in there to check it out myself though

Absolutely stunning in HTML5.

The music/sound 10/10 stunning visual affects.

Activities 10/10

socializing 10/10


This is basically wrath of the lich king and we just got dalaran.

Honestly im stoked beyond belief. I love every aspect of it and I hope future releases can handle this.

 

what's the entry quests again

 

I think there's something like 9 elf related quests and god knows how many pre-reqs to those quests.

Just off the top of my head I know Mourning's End Pt 1 and 2 which I haven't done and a bunch of other bullshit quests.

 

Plague's End is the main quest needed to enter, but there are a lot of pre-reqs for it. 15 other quests needed, as well as level 75 in Construction, Dungeoneering, Agility, Crafting, Herblore, Mining, Prayer and Summoning.

I killed the guards for an hour and made about 3m off drops alone. The new skill plots give amazing exp/hr.

The city itself looks ok. Music is great. Overall it's a 9/10 imo

3m an hour off drops? Might not remain that way though because they're relatively new. Once it gets more common (less than a week) everything should go down in price. But the skills seem to be amazing

 

I can't enter because questing is the most hated thing on runescape for me, but I would love to try some things out once I can enter.

 

I cant go either, I FREAKIN HATE QUESTING even though I was a quester over here lol. But I want to go in the city , another GE

 

Elf City is amazing. The xp rates are slightly op though. It's surprising but, for once, Jagex have actually done something right.

For all of you who can't get in, I suggest you start questing. The hours of boredom are well worth the rewards.

 

What were they dropping to get you that rate?

75 dung though I'd rather eat actual dung

 

Only thing holding me back is Plagues End since i don't have 75 dung plus its my last quest to do for cape I'd like to try the exp rates on skills there as well before they might get nerfed.

 

I basically did it to get the new titles =p

 

Most kills, they dropped between 8-12k in coins alone. Also, lots of noted herbs (cadantine, kuarwm, etc), noted white berries, limpwurt roots, the occasional rune platebody and rune 2h. All that added up pretty fast. The big drop was the crystal weapon seed. I got two of those in the hour I tested it, and they sold instantly on ge for 179k each. Two per hour seems to be about the average.

 

The Mining and Smithing XP is off the charts, my goal of 120 Mining will be complete much sooner than I thought.

I would call it basically an upgraded LRC, it's got the afk methods that are good xp and it's in a convenient location. Overall a very overpowered but great update. It will be interesting to see in the coming weeks if they nerf it or change it in any way regarding the xp rates.

 

Just watched a friends video about it, seems like it would be the perfect time to get 99 summoning if i only had the cash for it
