What happened to seeing current spammer reports?

Question is in title.

 

I was wondering the same thing.

 

They changed it so we can only view the archives.

I think the active ones got moved to the Staff Forums.

It makes sense though.

 

So people don't spam the reports saying they're innocent, and getting friends to do the same I'm guessing.

 

The forum has been hidden; there was no particular reason for normal members to see reports - they cluttered the new post index, generated petty post-report fights, and led users to frequently complain about the number of pages (mindless of how quickly they pile up)

 

It was a great improvement.

 

It's better like this, Less kids will use it to have report fights which push real reports down the list.

 

Not bad, but you will still have complaining. Especially when the moderators job is not being done just like the feedback thread by FG4 about tyro being too lazy to address the issue to another mod.

Cluttering the new post index was good idea, but there is a way to take certain forums out of the new post index.

I can still see fights happening when they find out they are getting infracted and search the spammer archives.

Users will still complain. They will report someone, and have to wait for it to be moved to the archive. So it takes them a month, they will complain about how long it took them to do the report not how many pages.

 

So people won't bitch and moan. It's really as simple as that.
