Scammers should pay % on top of what they scammed to community repayment for pardon

I see too many kids going on about how they scammed and payed back so they think that they deserve some sort of respect.

Cool, you're still not at a loss? You're still at square one, what does this prove, you want to come back and try catch a bigger fish?
Pay toward community repayment if you want to do some good.

Adding more to their debt makes them less interested in repaying, which means the victims won't get their money back. I get where the idea is coming from, but its not exactly common for someone to repay as is, this would just make it worse.

 

My last point addresses this. But look at how many people that got pardoned are now banned again lol :/

I think that is more of a negative bias at work, there are plenty of users who successfully pardon and rejoin. Sadly, its the bad outliers that end up representing the flaws in the pardon system.

Why should they have to pay the community? How would we benefit from it? The question is should we benefit from it. If anything they should pay the person they scammed a % for pain and suffering but paying the "community" aka "whom"? just NO. Honestly I feel like something like this would open the door for a lot of corruption in places that shouldn't have any.

 

Charge 100% extra and pay staff with it? Suggestion approved.

 

Yeah I guess it may promote corruption but that’s a bigger problem altogether.
Idk if you know that community repayment is to those that have been scammed and not payed back, not just random giveaways.

 

Would you be cautious being in a relationship with a person who previously was cheating on their last partner?
Would you be cautious letting someone being in your house alone who you know had burgled others before?

Idk which way your arguement was going but yes, I would like to know if I’m trusting someone who has scammed before lol (and see what they did/their pardon to decide myself if I am to trust them) - wouldn’t everyone?

 

I agree that yes scammers should have to pay a bit extra, But to the victims not community repayment as the victims were affected by that one individual, However that's just my perspective as i've recently came back from scamming and i did offer extra $$$ on top to compensate them for the hassle and grief i caused, But not alot of scammers have that mentality, Most will just evade if the scam was a high amount.
