What happends if you get banned 2 times for buying gold

Just got a minor 3 day for buying gold 2 weeks ago. What will happen if I buy gold again and get another ban is it going to be permanent? Any one have experience with this?

 

Has jagex specificially stated you will be permanently banned when you were on the offense page?

 

it says "Your account has been temporarily banned and wealth has been removed for Real World Trading in OldSchool. Should you continue to exhibit this behavior, further action will be taken against your account." which im not sure if that means a permanent ban or temp if I get caught again. This is on my main btw which I have been buying gold on for years without being caught.

Also says it will expire next year

Yep, it will be permed.
Some people are lucky to get a second temporary ban however, but the chance is slim.

I wouldn't risk losing your account with perm ban from here on out if it's a main.

Jagex changes their policies regarding how severe of an infraction a certain rule-breaking activity will call for relatively often.

and they do not USUALLY notify the player base of what the punishments are/will be changed to/from.

for example, my friend decided to try botting on his main 1-2 years ago. He received a temporary 3 day ban after a few days. And then after continuing to bot after the ban expired, received a temporary 2-week ban a few weeks later after botting some more.

he botted 80 agility and 80 mining i believe. Some people are hit with instant permanent ban on first time offences, some get lucky with several temporary bans first.
Best course of action is don’t risk it. Also, if after 1-2 months you haven’t received a ban, you most likely got away with whatever rule-breaking you did.

 

i just recieved my second rwt ban on my main and it was a temp 7 day ban. im for sure not pushing my luck anymore though cause the next will almost certainly be a perm. first was rwt minor, second was rwt moderate and im guessing last will be major and a perm ban.

Did they remove your items or just your gold? I just had the same thing happen to me, 1.7b bank, bought ~300m and spent it on items. RWT Moderate ban, 7 days. I only have a 40m cash stack so i'm praying that they just take that and leave my items because the majority of it is GP i earned legitimately.

You were right, only lost the 40m GP. To anyone in the future stumbling across this post while looking for answers on google, RWT Minor+Moderate as of 10/23/23 are only cash removal if you only bought gold not items.I kept the 300m in items i bought with the gold i rwt'd.

 

Hello. A bit of a late reply, but I would advise to no longer use that account for RWT. The chances of a perm ban are significant with the 3rd offense.
