What guides would you like to be verified:

Which guides criteria is more important. For example, some people believe that guides that are well structured, but doesn't really contain any unknown information should be verified, while other people believe that they shouldn't be verified.

What are your opinions on the guides we should allow to be verified?

Which one of the criteria is more important in your opinion?

If a guide is too well know or can almost be regarded as common knowledge, it really shouldn't be verified.

But on the same token, something that isn't very well written and can be hard to read by people, should also not be verified.

I think you need a healthy balance, which is hard considering how subjective it is.

 

Definitely it should be based upon uniqueness. Some guy may write about commonly known methods but simply use a thesaurus and invest some time into creating a well written guide and that would be verified so he can profit for regurgitating information currently known? I don't think that should be the case.

Well-written, in-depth guides are also handy, depending on the topic. I.E. How to set up a VPS for botting could be written with only a few hundred words, and guides like this can already be found over the internet. However a completely in-depth guide related to Linux + Windows VPS', a complete guide to setting up all the current major bots as well as how to maintain the VPS and bots could contain thousands of words, and because it's so in-depth and can allow a complete noob to bot on there own VPS, it'd be worth money.

 

Uniqueness, It surely helps if its very well written, but having a ton of verified guides on the same subject is of no use to anyone.

 

Uniqueness for certain! Sold many eBook copies in the past couple of years, people don't want a well written guide as much as a unique one. You can get past a crappy structure, poor grammar, spelling etc.

 

How well it was written. If the guide is detailed to every point that isn't completely copy and pasted from the hundreds if not thousands of guides out there already.

As for uniqueness, I'm not sure. Maybe unorthodox method's if you mean that, but it still needs to contain a stature that every other vmm guide should have.

 

I think if you can google a guide and find something equivalent to it in under 5 - 8 minutes it shouldn't be verified. Anyone can go to one of the numerous online guide hubs and take a free guide, reword it, and sell it for 5 bucks. I have always stood by that sentiment. GPT, Affiliate Guides, PPD guides, Fiverr, flipping, anything like that deserves an autolock because you can find all of those all over for free and most are in depth and give you all the same or better resources. After they are locked they should be given the chance to submit it to the OGVs though and if the guide is found to be completely unique then it should be allowed to be sold. It is so easy to rip people off because of the way out system works - take that one guy who sold the guide that was only a sentence long and pretty much said the best way to make money is to get suckers to buy crappy ebooks.

Edit: Any intelligent, and curious enough person can find numerous free guides on the huge guide sites if they take the time. So using the argument - but if you hadn't about it you never would have known is just a load of BS.

I really think it needs both. No point verifying a guide which contains information most people know but it was presented.
Equally I wouldn't want to see a very unique guide with a poor structure to the extent the buyer doesn't understand it.

I think to get a chance of being verified it must pass the unique stage. If the guide topic is deemed unique it is then ensured the guide is well presented before being verified.
