What got you into Runescape?

I took my brothers account, "had written down on paper in like 04" and started playing, i had fun, but ALL i did was cut trees. i quit for like 2 years, started back up. got my first 99 with'en 3 weeks of playing, haven't quit.

 

Because friends in my class played, and at the time it sounded amazing.

Requested move to RS Gen btw.

 

I've always enjoyed the Player Killing aspect of the game. Recently quit because of a few updates that I really didn't like. I play different RSPS now. =]

 

Started playing in 2001 after my best mate at the time encouraged me to try it. Got hooked onto pking.

 

Friend showed me it and I slowly starting exploring it myself...

 

Personally I heard about it from some friends when I was young. I played it for a little bit, bought membership and got to about level 50ish. I really lost interest at the time and didn't play it again until 2010. I was a little bit older and decided to give it another shot. Long story short - I'm near maxed now.

 

The kids across the street from me introduced me to the stuff... I thought it was lame at first, but I don't really remember how I got hooked :l

 

I was young, and the area I lived in only had 3 kids. I was about 7ish, and the other guy was around ~ 14/15. He made me my first account named: Imadogbrain.

 

A friend of mine in sixth grade had just started playing in 2003 and I remember taking like two weeks to get off Tutorial Island and probally 4 solid months of killing goblins, but mainly friends but they soon quit playing while I continued on well into college and now graduate school.

 

I started playing because I kept hearing people talking about it along time ago so I gave it a try and loved it!

 

My best mate introduced me, and I kinda got hooked from there. Was a lot more fun when I was younger, but I still really enjoy it.

I first came across the game back in the late 2004 at a friends house, and didn't think much of it .. then made my first own account in early 2005. The idea of doing what you want and not having set tasks to do all the time, the community and just the whole game in general was very good.

Back in the day, everyone at the library would be playing it, so I decided to give it a shot and haven't been able to quit since..

 

My brother cousins and friends. We all had a good time together.

 

Back in middle school a bunch of guys that I hung out with regularly started playing. At that time I was playing Endless Online, but switched over. Great game, just dislike what's going on with the updates, etc.

 

What got me into it along time ago was watching my cousins play in the 5th grade.

 

I first started because my brother played and I wanted to be cool like him, now I'm addicted and have been off and on over 7 years!

 

My brother played it ~2003, I decided to make an account and the rest is history..

 

Friend on a different game told me to play.
