Skrill Question

Hey guys

I have decided to branch out and start looking into Skrill to use as a payment option. I set up an account and had a postal address verification letter sent to my home. I verified it with my account after it came in, but I have a few quick questions for anyone that is knowledgeable with Skrill:

1.) Do I need to verify anything else (I see an option to verify Social Security Number, but I am not too big on giving that out)
2.) I have a visa debit/gift cards and a bank account, but I prefer to use visa debits. Will this be fine for my Skrill account?
3.) How is Skrill different from Paypal, other than the fact that is a different option?
4.) Is it fine if I am in the U.S. using Skrill?

I'm not from the US so I can't comment on this.

Visa should be fine, you'll need to verify it which may take a few days, same with your bank account if you decide to add that.

3.) How is Skrill different from Paypal, other than the fact that is a different option?

Skrill is generally safer since you have to upload money before you can send it, adding extra security over PayPal. Chargebacks are a lot less likely, although not impossible.

4.) Is it fine if I am in the U.S. using Skrill?

From what I last heard; US residents can't upload money to Skrill, so the only way for you to get a balance to use is to receive it from someone. I assume withdrawing is fine though.

There isn't really a chargeback option, people can phone in or email though but skrill say if you're a legit trader they will refund the person themselves and not take your money.

Theyre also regulated like a real bank. Theyre mostly better than paypal.

 

everything Divica and yes the only way you can get funds on moneybookers is if someone sends you money on moneybookers. If you do want to buy via moneybookers then I suggest finding someone you could do a paypal for moneybookers exchange or anything similar.

 

Also, skrill does not like people who use skrill to trade virtual items.
My skril account is banned now because they found out that I use it to trade virtual items.
