Double Korasi's Speccing

Hey guys I just got a Ring of Vigour so I could double Korasi's spec, however the log out and time 28 seconds after a re-log doesn't seem to work for me. Is this patched, or is my timing just shitty?

That's how long it takes to recharge 10% of special.

 

Im still confused on what is being done.

 

you restore 10% spec every 30 seconds, korasi spec with ring of vigour is ~55% of the bar. in order to do 2 in a row, you must spec from 100%, down to 45% right as you spec. If timed perfectly, you will spec, then gain 10% more back, enough to spec again, thus allowing 2x in a row.

IMO not worth time timing, as the best time to rush someone is when they finish a fight, or are not paying attention which that and the 28 second mark usually don't meet up. Stick to claws.

 

Yeah, but the benefit of Korasi spec is that you get two guaranteed high hits in a row. On an account with 99 str, you basically are guaranteed to hit 700-800+.

 

Especially on a Turmoil Zerker with 95 Attack and 99 Strength I lost my Vigour on the first damn rush so it's back to dunging.

 

try specing at 27 seconds or a little earlier until you get it
and make sure you starting the timer as soon as the log in wheel stops moving

I'm 80 atk, 99 str, 95 pray. Max i hit with void + fury ammy + boots + barrows gloves + deflector = 700, and thats if i'm lucky

 

Interesting, I might try this next week when I have knocked a few goals out of the way.

Like someone else mentioned, though, you need to find someone to PJ or that isn't paying attention at that 28 second mark or it probably isn't going to have a good success rate.

Korasi's spec hits at least 50% to 150% of your natural max hit. Casting the special 1000 times means that, on average, you will be hitting precisely your max hit.

Yes, the max with one is only about 750. However, considering your max natural max with Korasi, turmoil, and a super str is probably about 500, using two specials in a row is bound to hit 700-800 at least. (Your average hit for two specials is actually 1500.)

 

It takes a while to learn you just need to get your timing right.
