What do you have to know in order to make an ONLINE GAME?

Can someone tell me? I know absolutely nothing about programming or anything, and I have absolutely NO experience at all. You can pretty much call me a stupid noob when it comes to stuff like this.

In the future I plan on investing thousands of dollars creating an online game, just like RuneScape, or MapleStory.

 

If you yourself plan on making it, then you'd better start learning a programming language of your choice. RuneScape is Java-based, which is fairly unusual for an online game.

 

C++ is the stuff of programs.

 

then u have to learn to make models and such. which can be very time consuming.
