What do you guys think of this idea for a gambling method in 07

This could also be used for teleporting on certain squares ^.^

Not personally a fan of gambling, but I think this could work.

 

I think just bring back flowering as stakers RWT anyway.

It could work - but as soon as it got popular it would be very difficult to see where anyone landed.

 

Very interesting concept. It could work but would have to be spread out upon worlds. There would be a ton of disuputing but that comes with any gambling. Someone could quickly run to a spot claiming they landed there even though they didn't. Or they could accidentally" tele out saying that it shouldn't count, etc.

 

Agreed, also correct me if i'm wrong but couldn't the ring of duelling be use to the betters advantage? Inside the portal if you don't leave, instead teleport out with a ring of duelling. Not sure if this is randomized or if you land on 1 side of CW most of the time.

 

Not spam but what's wrong with staking what's the hype over diving and hot cold I know u host scam a lot and make a lot of money cause the odds always work in your favor

 

Sounds like it could work, but it also sounds pretty complicated and seems like it could have a lot of flaws.. I say try it anyway haha.

 

I like it, the crowding would be a problem though but it could work with some proper coordination. As for staking not everyone has the know how and stats to stake properly, and just yolo'ing it with your main or alt account is a great way to go broke quickly. People want a gambling experience that is accessible by everyone and isn't biased towards experience.

Gambling in the game has become kind of hard though, I know a lot of people have moved to 3rd party sites that use rs3 or osrs gold as payment but everything else happens on the site and then the payouts back in game.

This is indeed very nice and I miss gambling very much

 

You can't teleport outside of team room. Logging in and out could be problematic though since you can do it in 2 seconds now. I would multi log accounts in each portal room to keep an eye on it, or require people to have their friends chat on.

 

Seems like it would be hard to catch cheaters / easy to manipulate.

Never would have thought of that but I don't think it will be big, even if it did then it would be hard to spot people seeing as it may be crowded.

 

Being a host would have no bonus that would be my only problem.

The idea of hosting is that you're gaining with the odds on your side.
