Wisdom teeth.

I got my wisdom teeth taken out yesterday, haven't even really been bothered by them. Anybody else get lucky like I did?

I had 3 of them instead of 4. They were bleeding yesterday but they stopped, hurt a little bit but not much. I'm still eating light though.. like yogurt, applesauce, etc.

 

The dentist said i will be getting them out within a year. Im quite scared D:

 

Mine didn't bother me either, he took 4 of mine. I ate the hell out of KFC's macaroni and mashed potatoes.

 

Ima upload my wisdom teeth, im getting them both out on the 28th of july. I do have perfect front teeth , the missing area is just shadow i think ?




The two bottem ones are causing me great amounts of pain. I dont have any top wisdom teeth, but the bottoms are also wrapped around nerves which means i need dental surgery and not just you average wisdom tooth operation FML.

 

i had all 4 impacted wisdom teeth taken out. It sucks not be able to eat real food for like 4 days.

 

My mouth kind of bothers me when I bite down fully so I avoided foods where I would have to chew for now hoping that it would cause faster healing. That's about the only thing bugging me. No bleeding, no swelling, nothing like that.

 

I have had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed.

 

Just attempted to eat Macaroni and Cheese hahaha... took me 15 minutes of eating a little by little..

 

Dude I just got mine taken out 2 days ago. It didn't hurt cause they numbed it, but when the numbing ceased, the pain increased. They prescribed me T3's and they've done a good job keeping the pain down. So far I can only eat simple stuff like yogurt, mashed potatoes and soup, but I managed to eat a banana today. <3 It will get better in time, give it a few more days.

 

Yeah, I'm on my second day right now. I haven't taken any pain medicine either though, I haven't really had to for some reason. My left side is completely fine but my right side still bothers me a tad.

 

i heard it hurts alot one kid i know got addicted to the pain killers after taking them so much

 

I have 4
I went and got 1 removed, took her 3 hours to get ONE removed. I was supposed to have all 4 removed in that one day, she said "Too much work, come back another day when the first one heals" I went back a month later, again, took her 2 hours for one tooth. Once again, had to return a month later. She took 2 hours for the next tooth, and this time, left me in a LARGE amount of pain, I wasn't even able to open my mouth to eat, had to drink soup threw a straw, worst 2 weeks in my life. And now, I still have one in there, my dentist told me it'll be fine, but if it starts to hurt to go in.

I hate the dentist.

 

When do you have to take em out? I'm not too good with teeth but does everyone have to take em out one day regardless of if it hurts? I don't want to go through it, that's why I'm asking. I am 15 btw.

 

Not everyone has to get them removed. You only have to get them removed if they are pushing your other teeth, like in the picture posted about, the photo on the right is pushing directly against the other teeth, that will cause the teeth on your bottom jaw, become compacted, and crooked, and it WILL begin to hurt.

 

Oh okay, thanks for explaining. Mine have never caused pain and I don't think their pushing against my other teeth so I don't need to worry

 

Lol wow, I know like 9 people who've got their teeth taken out in the past week, it's ridiculous. I had 4 impacted ones taken out last week, just ate Subway again, woot.

 

Lucky you, I've been watching my mom eat pizza all day and it's annoying me.

 

I would suggest not rushing eating hard foods, some girl that I know did, and she can kinda crack her jaw, and she can feel some nerve close to where her wisdom teeth used to be. 0.0

Yeah, I'm not rushing. I finally started taking my pain medicine though. Hopefully I'll be better in a day or two.
