Tried OSBot, here are my results.

Summary: I tried the bot, got banned, raised a concern regarding one of its modes being detectable, I was banned from their discord.

I do not recommend them as a provider for your business, this is not a professional approach to criticism or customer support. Ignoring criticism ensures a bad product.

So yesterday I wanted to start a small botfarm, I planned my tech infrastructure and expenditures, I wanted to go with a high quality bot, but budget was tight so I bought OSBot, mirror mode and bot manager plus a Khal script. Here's the results.

I made two accounts, one on my home IP, and one on a datacenter SOCKS5 proxy. Accounts were created with unused gmail on the corresponding IP address.

The bots were ran as was recommended by staff, on stealth mode (Injection), on the same computer.

The first sussy behaviour comes when installing the bot. It turns out that it uses a legacy client to bot. Which means that you can't bot with the official client, nor with runelite. This legacy client is used for compatibility with some systems like linux. To be fair just using this on windows is sussy.

The second sussy behaviour came when I was creating my second account, I had clicked remember username on the first account, so the username of the first account appeared when opening a second client. Weird! Seems pretty easy for Jagex to link my accounts if they wanted to!

Anyways I raise this to staff, and they have a pretty sensible response, that the mechanism for account linking is well known and depends on a staff called random.dat, which they isolate at the file level for each client.

Ok, it's a weak response but sensible, not complaining for something that costs 20$ for unlimited accounts. But in my mind this is already a suicide botting tool. I wouldn't be surprised if Jagex can link my accounts with this technique, a Jr engineer could do this in a single day.

I do Tut island by hand, and use the Khal script to bot, 1 or 2 hours later I turn off the computer, the next day one of the accounts, the one on my home IP was banned.

So I raise this to staff, no biggie, I just say that the stealth client was detected and I will try mirror mode (reflection based).

So, logically I will have to get a refund. This is no way to do business. You don't respond to customer complaints by blocking them, you insulate yourself from criticism and you will keep developing a shitty product.

I was planning on trying their other mode, mirror mode. But unless OSBot staff reconsider their approach to customer support and criticism reception, I will not be conducting business with them or further reviewing their software.

Wow, thanks for sharing. Was never considering on using them, now I never will.

 

On the upside, they are one of the highest quality OPRS java based clients for such a low flat price. They have proxy support, which is rare but vital.

They are a great option for going with a mass suicide botting strategy, the issue is just customer support, which is great most of the time, but apparently you can't question its detectability.

Shame, great product for what it is, but it wants to be something it's not.

 

There are other products that offer the same but don't have the problems you mentioned
