    it says I need to have java 7.17 or higher I already downloaded the most recent patch 7_45 and tribot still gives me this error can anyone help me?

    Best to post/ask about it at tribot, you'll get better/faster answers there.

    First uninstall all Java's competently.
    Then install Java again from here: http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp
