What's the best armour to wear when training your Magic on a 1 Defence pure? My Magic level is currently 36, that's the best equipment to wear when training it?

 

Well,how are you training?Personally,I would use Curse on a Zamorak monk In varrock castle.
This is generally very fast at 30k xp an hour,and very cheap.

This would need the lowest possible Magic Attack bonus,So full iron would work?
there is a free bot from autofighter.org also so it should be easy.

 

Yea, Wizard robes would be the best until you finish Desert Treasure and unlock the access to ghostly robes. If you can afford it, a seers ring gives +4 magic, and gnome hats give +1 more magic than a wizard hat.

I had the same problem I couldn't find anything to wear so I just when with standard blue mage gear with wizzy boots and seers ring (if you can afford)

 

ghostly robes with seers ring. if you cant do DT, you can wear wizard robes with zamorak robes bottoms. seers ring if you have the $

 

I've got Zamorak Robes on at the minute.

 

For your level, probably zammy/wizard robes, as said above. Next is ghostly robes/god robes. And max mage includes magic book, masters wand and 3rd age mage ammy.

 

I'd use Ghostly Robes.

Gnome hat (+3 Magic)
Wizard robe (+3 Magic)
Amulet of Magic / Glory / Fury (+10 Magic)
Zamorak robe bottom (+2/+3 Magic)
Staff of (air etc.) (+10 Magic)
Wizard Boots (+4 Magic)
Adamant RFD gloves (+4 Magic)
Seers' ring (+4 Magic)
Also, a God cape is +10 magic, but it's requires level 60 magic to use.

My 1 defence pure experience is that you want as little hp as possible (I probably I'll get flamed here), so I'd say get some iron on ect and curse until you can high alch, or telly.

My 1 def pure is:
60 att
98 str
1 def
13 pray
94 mage
70 range
78 hp.
73 combat

Most other pures i come accross have higher hp than me by far, but the extra 7 hp lvls they have, doesnt really make much of a difference, the extra 5 strength levels or so that I got instead does imo.

 

Mitre, Ghostly top, God Robe bottoms (the expensive kind)

Best prayer/magic ratio there.

Runecrafting robes work well too.

 

he is right. good way to train. get a -55 mage bonus. it super cheap to splash..

 

If you got 55 magic you can use alcher. 55-99 easy and quicky than training.
